Inner Potential Practices with different Buddhas
The potential of our mind is said to be limitless and so is its development.
With Annelies van der Heijden
Introduction
The Buddha has many manifestations as a result of inner development. We might know Chenrezig as the Buddha of Great Compassion and often His Holiness is mentioned as the living example of Great Compassion at this time. The different Buddhas represent specific qualities and potentials that we ourselves like to nourish and further develop in our own mind. Performing practices related to the different Buddhas is a very direct way to do this.
Every practice session will focus on one of the Buddhas and their related quality. The first session will be an introduction to the Buddha and the practice, which will be recorded. The following will be focused on the practice, with time to ask questions.
The Buddhas:
- Green Tara represents quick and skillful actions
- Chenrezig represents Great Compassion
- Manjushri represents the different types of Wisdom
- Medicine Buddha represents healing capacity
- Vajrasattva represents the purification of our mind.
Everyone can join just one or more evenings, and no experience is required.
Practicing together is considered more powerful than practicing alone!
