Patrul Rinpoche was a great scholar-yogi of the Nyingma School whose work “Words of My Perfect Teacher” is a practical, inspiring manual offering an overview of the complete path to enlightenment. Geshe la will give a detailed commentary on the bodhicitta chapter of Words of My Perfect Teacher. He will focus on the different types of bodhicitta, and how to move beyond an altruistic wish to an actual commitment to work for the benefit of sentient beings.

This text is a favourite of Geshe Sonam Ngodrup's, and has been one of his most popular courses. In 2011, HH Dalai Lama instructed Geshe la and several other dharma teachers to complement their classes on Lama Tsongkhapa's Lam Rim with teachings on this text by Patrul Rinpoche, emphasizing that it is a text which is both inspiring and profound.
